- Evaluate proposals with external expert review and recommend funding to college authorities.
- Develop incentive policies for faculty recognized at state, national, and international levels for research contributions and awards.
- Encourage researchers to publish articles in reputable journals.
- Maintain a database of research work and projects, collecting data through metrics like Citation Index, Impact Factor, h-index, SNIP, and SJR for funding and accreditation purposes.
- Promote consultancy services to industry, government, NGOs, and the community.
- Establish clear guidelines for the grant of research-related leave.
