The Academic Council of Dewanhat Mahavidyalaya is responsible for creating the academic calendar, framing the semester routine, coordinating with the different departments of the college to ensure academic activities run effortlessly. The Convenor of the Academic Council meets with the heads of the departments and collaborates with them, exchanging and sharing inputs with regards to academic matters of the college enriching the strategic approach to achieving better academic atmosphere for the college. The Academic Council also discusses any academic issue that affects the college and suggests remedies and makes recommendations for improving the academics of the college.
