About The Department
The Department of Political Science of Dewanhat Mahavidyalaya was started in the year 2007. Initially Teaching-Learning of the Department started in Pass Course, but with the appointment of the Permanent Teacher in the substantive post, Dr Ipsita Haldar, Honours course was started in the department soon. Now the faculty of the department includes two Permanent Teachers in the posts of Assistant Professors. The total student strength in each semester of the department is 48 (forty-eight).
